Brainless

It was supposed to be a brainless day for me.  I thought it was one of those fluffy movies. 



It's a day after my birthday and I've been doing nothing but stay cooped up at my place all weekend, save for the trip to the crab place with Ferds. I didn't even have enough money last night so Ferds ended up taking much of the tab. 



We had coffee at Luneta Hotel. Awwww-oooooo! 



Nah, it's not so spooky. Bad taste in decors, though. They can do better. 



So I woke up today, my first day of the new year, and I thought I should see a movie. Parking was hellish. 



So I thought I should see a movie that's not being watched by a lot of people. You know, the brainless, uncelebrated types. 



I ended up watching this. 







The plot was simple, but the cinematography was hot. The cast was good. The characterization was strong.  Not much excitement. The ending was, well, not too well tied up. Language was clear and crisp. 



It's a good movie, especially if you're expecting a brainless one.
